Where you live ... should not determine whether you live or whether you die. Bono

This past weekend Bono received the NAACP Chairman's Award for his work in moving our generation to conquer the challenges of poverty and AIDS. For a white kid from Ireland to receive this honor is no small feat. Hear his stirring words yourself at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6P6v4bNxJQ

While there is no quick or easy answer for poverty in the world, we as individuals CAN make a difference. Let's be an inspired generation of activists. We can take ONE step. We can do ONE thing. As ONE we can make a difference. How can you not want to do more when you see the passion and power of what ONE man can do? It's as easy as wearing a bracelet or a t-shirt, making a phone call (on a red razr) or even shopping at a favorite store.
